The mission of the Open Therapy Institute (OTI) is to address socio-political bias in mental health care.

In all Open Therapy Institute workshop talks, the views expressed are those of the speaker alone and not those of the Open Therapy Institute. The Open Therapy Institute aims to highlight overlooked issues and perspectives, not to take an official stance on each topic. Within this purview, we aim to present a range of views from diverse theoretical orientations and perspectives.

*All of OTI’s asynchronous workshops are intended for physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and other healthcare professionals and meet accreditation standards for Physician Continuing Education offering AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ , Nursing Continuing Professional Development contact hours, and Social Work Continuing Education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Standards vary by state, so please check with your state boards.

Open Therapy Institute is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Open Therapy Institute maintains responsibility for these programs and their content.

Open Therapy Institute, Inc. is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Psychology as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed psychologists #PSY-0271.
