Authoritarianism, Morality, and Humor: Psychodynamic Processes that Shape Culture (Students/Non-CE)
This course will include lectures on: a possible increase in right/left-wing authoritarian character structure, the decreasing role of morality as a central feature in the treatment of personality disorders, and the enduring value of humor to bridge divides. Complementarity and tensions between all three will be explored.
