Political Bias in Social Work Standards and Practices (CE Credits)
This talk examines how political values and activism have become embedded in professional standards, training, and clinical norms in social work. It identifies some of these biases and outlines concrete steps to restore neutrality, protect client autonomy, and maintain evidence-based care for patients with diverse values, worldviews, and experiences.
