Politicized Therapy and the Alternatives (CE Credits)
This course will explore how politicized therapy approaches impact education, training, and practice. Political activism has become prominent in mental health care (education, research and clinical practice). There are significant reasons to be concerned, including: undermining trust, openness, neutrality, and autonomy. Talks will also outline core features of patient-centered approaches that build strong therapeutic alliances.
