Sociopolitical Bias in Mental Health Care and Clinical Skill for Working with Diverse Viewpoints (Students/Non-CE)
This 1.5-hour on demand, non-interactive distance learning course will explore sociopolitical values and their effects on training, research, and clinical practice. It will also discuss ways clinicians can work more effectively with patients who have diverse viewpoints, especially those that are more often overlooked by the field. The workshop will address pervasive trends in training, offer a critique and discussion, and suggest strategies for improvement.
